Paralegal - Senior Secretary

Contract Type:  Indefinite

Job Purpose:

Under general direction, perform a variety of bilingual, complex and responsible legal, confidential and administrative duties which require a range of intricate skills and a comprehensive knowledge of document management and retention in an environment with a high level of discretion, sensitivity and interpersonal interaction  bilingually composes, edits, receives, classifies, consolidates and proofreads correspondence and reports, and/or summarizes documents and information, maintaining records and documents processed according to standard procedure for use by the Legal Affairs Department.

 

Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience.
LL.B preferred, but not required. 
Relevant specialized certificate is an advantage.
Proficiency in Arabic enabling independent correspondence is essential.
Proficiency in English enabling independent correspondence is essential.

 

Minimum Experience:
4 years of relevant working experience 
2 years of experience in Legal department in the Oil & Gas industry and with experience in Board Assistance, preferably in Qatar.
Has a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Legal Department's work and context.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Relativity required. Experience with any other document review databases preferred.
