Loss Control Supervisor

Job Purpose:
Provide "on shift" services in Safety and Emergency Response to support the ORYX GTL business activities. Act as First Response Team Leader in case of an emergency event, first aid treatment, and support of shift personnel in safety services related to work in the process areas. 

Minimum Qualification:

• Diploma in a relevant field. 
• Bachelor in Safety or related field is an advantage.
• Certification as a professional fireman at fire officer level or related fire Diploma with Incident command.
• Training in Safety and Loss Prevention such as NEBOSH Certificate or similar. 
• Fire Instructor Certification. 
• NFPA 472 or equivalent in Hazardous Materials for first responders' operations. 
• Certificate in Medical First Response. 
• Certificate in Advanced Petrochemical Fire Fighting. 

Minimum Experience: 

• 5 Years of operational experience in an Emergency Service in the Oil and Gas Industry. 
• Demonstrated experience and involvement in Plant Safety.
